Lots of photos to celebrate the little things

It's Natalie again, and I'm back with another two-page layout. I love to make two-page layouts because I can fit so many photos onto them!

There is a huge farmer's market in our city, and Husband and I finally made it up there to sample its goodness. I took lots of photos the first time we went, and the patterned papers in the September Lucky Girls kit with their homey, small-scale prints were perfect to fill in sections of my photo grid. I used my sewing machine and some butter-yellow thread to give the patterned paper sections a little border.

I wanted to embellish these patterned paper blocks a little more, so I pulled out a couple of the corrugated hearts that came in this kit, inked their edges with some brown ink, and pop-dotted them in the pink sections. I added a couple of the foam dots from the Thickers set to tie in the aqua color from the title.

For the kraft sections, I made layered flowers by cutting three circles of increasing size out of two of the floral papers with my pinking shears, inking their edges, and crumpling them. I punched two holes and tied the layers together with twine. I think they are pretty cute!

A Jillibean Soup label sticker was the perfect place to add the date above my title, and I framed the journaling with a large bracket die cut with my Silhouette.
