In our family, my daughter's birthday on Saturday kicked off a major birthday month for us. We have 6 birthdays left to celebrate between now and September 2. For today's layout, I used the fun Girl's Paperie paper to make a birthday layout for my son. I cut the star out of the yellow cardstock from the kit, then added the pleated circle created with the reverse side of the Sassafras Lass papers, a large Cosmo Cricket button, and a "couch button" Sassafras brad. The "6" was cut out of the reverse of the Girl's Paperie plaid paper, then glazed over with some Liquid Glass. To make my plaid/number paper stretch, I cut the 10x7 (ish!) paper in two to create a strip of 10x4-1/2 and 10x2-1/2, then hid the fact that this was done with the layout of my photos.

Your layout is fun! I love the star with the little blue flower and button and brad! Cute! Anyway, still love the flowers in the kit because of the variety and colors!
ReplyDeleteI like all the cute embellishments in the old school kit, the little tickets are great and I'm a flower girl.... so all the bright flowers are my favorite, love the bling in the center of the lil ones.
