Just checking in... only a few more days to enter the DT call!

Hi friends -

First, I want to thank all of you who have applied to the DT so far. Man, do I have some tough choices to make!!! If only I could have you all! And, if you haven't applied yet, know that you only have through this Friday to send me your entry. Check out all the details in the DT call posting below...

I hosted a Mother's Day retreat for some of my closest friends and have been gone all weekend long, so if I haven't had a chance to reply personally to your entries or questions, I apologize. I will by tomorrow afternoon. I'm so exhausted now, between cropping & Mother's Day festivities, that I'm in my jammies and going to curl up in bed with one of the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

Speaking of the retreat, I'm getting some awesome feedback from my girls locally on what they want to see - particularly some boy and masculine-focused products. What about you? What kind of products, color schemes, themes, etc. are you on the lookout for? I'll do my best to meet your needs!

Seriously - comment here & let me know what you want to see....

Finally, for all you mothers out there, I hope you have had a fantastic Mother's Day!!!

Scrap Happy -

Jessica

  1. yay! im really looking forward to seeing the first kit - i really love to have a ton of embellishments in a kit - journaling spots are always fun, as well as some bling :)...i think boy-themed products would be nice, too...i'm just super excited to see all the neat things that you'll have to offer :)

  3. Welcome back Jessica!! I have to agree... masculine stuff would be great!! My poor son and husband just don't get many pages because the girly stuff is so much easier!! Anything that would inspire and give me jump start on manly pages would totally rock!!

  5. I am very excited to see your kits! I love getting a collection of products that can all work together. I only have one child and he is a boy and finding new and fun 'boy' things can be challenging. We all have special men in our lives and they deserve to be scrapped to. I also love the establishments in kits! I also think its nice when you get a portion of something. For example flowers, I dont want a pack of 42 of the same flowers so its nice to get 5 in a kit or the same for ribbon and other embellishments that can be broken up.

    Good luck!

  6. I love to get embellishments ,flowers ,and letters of course, but maybe it would be nice to throw in something like glimmer mists, inks, or crackle paints. Masculine things would be great too. Glad you had a great weekend, and Happy Belated Mother's Day!! See ya on the XOXO Design blog.

  7. I typed up a comment earlier but for some reason it did not post...I think everyone's ideas would be great, the only thing that I would add is maybe some glimmer mist, inks, or crackle paints. I think it would be awesome to get these in a kit with coordinating papers and embellies! Hope you had a wonderful mother's Day!!!
