Announcing our DT!

Hello my lovely and beautiful blogosphere buddies! Only 9 days until the shop goes live and you're able to order our first kits! Are you as excited as I am?! I'm hoping to have the shop go live earlier than June 1, but I got distracted by the nine gigantic boxes of scrappy deliciousness that got delivered to my door that I just couldn't pull myself away to work on the web! You'll all know as soon as the store is open, either way!

I have some great news to announce! After an agonizing time pouring through the nearly 50 DT apps I received - which was truly, one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make! - I made my choices and am so excited to welcome Kim, Rae and Sarabeth to my team! You're going to love these girls!! Not only are they wonderfully creative, but they are so fun and sweet and spunky. These next four months are going to be a ball!

To all who have submitted.... awesome work, ladies! I am so honored and impressed that you would take the time to apply. Really. I have such a tremendous job to partake in this weekend, and I am totally and completely nervous/anxious/excited.... well, you get the picture.

First, I want to thank all of you who have applied to the DT so far. Man, do I have some tough choices to make!!! If only I could have you all! I hosted a Mother's Day retreat for some of my closest friends and have been gone all weekend long, so if I haven't had a chance to reply personally to your entries or questions, I apologize. I will by tomorrow afternoon. I'm so exhausted now, between cropping & Mother's Day festivities, that I'm in my jammies and going to curl up in bed with one of the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

Speaking of the retreat, I'm getting some awesome feedback from my girls locally on what they want to see - particularly some boy and masculine-focused products. What about you? What kind of products, color schemes, themes, etc. are you on the lookout for? I'll do my best to meet your needs!

This is actually a leftover kit from my February class that I taught locally, and the kit that inspired the whole thing. Calling all Lucky Girls!

I'm hosting a design team call to kick off my new scrapbook kit of the month club in style!

Lucky Girl DT members will receive free product each month and publication on the store's site!

I'm currently seeking DT members who are:

* Fun & easy going!

* Can follow deadlines and submit 3-5 projects a month (for all but the first challenge, you'll have a full month to get them done!)

* Is willing to promote this blog and the store through word of month and links on their personal blog, signature lines, etc.

Previous design team experience is not necessary!
